One hundred and eighty‐one teachers completed a questionnaire designed to elicit information about the integrated day. Analysis of the results revealed five major types of practice, or models of integrated day, conceived in organizational terms. The survey suggests that integrated day is a form of organization in which children engage in a variety of activities in a classroom.
