The cross section for the initiation of energetic cascades or bursts by bremsstrahlung is calculated for a mesotron of spin one-half and zero magnetic moment. Our results are very similar to those obtained by Christy and Kusaka for a Proca particle; our cross section is about 0.7 of theirs.
