Light‐Driven Molecular‐Crystal Actuators: Rapid and Reversible Bending of Rodlike Mixed Crystals of Diarylethene Derivatives

Limber but strong: Two-component mixed crystals of diarylethene derivatives exhibit reversible, rapid, and fatigue-resistant bending upon alternate irradiation with UV and visible light (see picture).
