Included in the correspondence are letters from Herbert Blumer, one of the editors of the Journal of Sociology declining to publish a manuscript of Sorokins that refers to recent publications by Talcott Parsons. Reason being the journal is already thought of as being slanted towards the "Harvard group"; a letter to Peter M.
