A new method for calculating deflections of wooden bending elements taking into account the nonlinearity of material deformation has been developed. A certain sequence for calculating the deflections of such elements is proposed. The options for beam loading to establish the ratio of the maximum moment to the deflection are presented. A theoretical analysis was carried out and the results obtained while modeling the operation of a wooden beam of rectangular cross-section based on Moment-Curvature graphs were described in this article. The dependences of the simultaneous achievement of the limit states for the first (in terms of bearing capacity) and the second (in terms of deflections) groups of limit states depending on the ratio of the geometric dimensions of solid and glued wooden beams were established.
