The integration of the country into the processes of digitalization and the emerging information landscape requires significant attention to solving problems and implementing a set of systemic measures to ensure the preservation of document collections as part of the country's cultural heritage. The relevance of the research presented by the author is to generalize the trends of digital transformation of cultural institutions, in particular their document arrays, focused on improving the quality of user service, ensuring the safety of document collections, increasing the possibilities of distributing information about collections, exhibits outside the cultural institution, providing operational access to remote resources.
