As an important part of China's transportation infrastructure, the bridge system has played a vital role in supporting the development of China's transportation industry for a long time.However, since the vast majority of bridges are in complex external environments, there are more factors that cause damage to the bridge structure, and in the case of long-term use, it will inevitably cause damage to its own structure, thus affecting the overall safety of the structure.Therefore, it is particularly important to carry out regular load-bearing capacity evaluations and related maintenance work on bridge structures.In order to explore the load carrying capacity assessment method of existing bridges with through cracks, this paper is based on actual engineering projects, using Dr. Bridge finite element software to carry out load carrying capacity assessment of an existing solid web three-hole reinforced concrete arch bridge in Jingzhou City, which has suffered more serious damage.
