The sinicization of Marxism refers to the process of integrating the fundamental principles of Marxism with China's specific realities and its rich cultural heritage, thus continuously generating theoretical outcomes with distinctive Chinese characteristics. Currently, Chinese society is undergoing profound transformations; rapid socio-economic development is taking place alongside profound changes in people's ideologies and values, giving rise to a multitude of novel situations and issues across various domains. As a result, varying degrees of confusion, bewilderment, and even a sense of being at a loss manifest in people's thoughts and behaviors, amplifying the urgent need for theoretical guidance in practical matters. To better achieve socialist modernization and further advance the sinicization of Marxism, it is essential to dialectically evaluate its contributions, challenges, and issues encountered in China. This paper begins by affirming the significant role played by the sinicization of Marxism in China's revolutionary endeavors, reform processes, and modernization drive. Subsequently, it presents perspectives on the skepticism and challenges posed by diverse social currents against the sinicization of Marxism. Lastly, the paper offers suggestions for improvement in light of the inadequacies observed in the implementation of the sinicization process.
