Active Historical Memory Within the Framework of Patriotic Education of Student Youth

The author of the article notes the relevance of the process of educating young people in modern higher education. In conditions of information oversaturation, student youth do not always correctly perceive the events of historical history. The author of the article defines active historical memory as the foundation of patriotic education. In connection with the announcement of the year 2024 - the year of the family, the article analyzes the importance of family values, family traditions for young people. The goal presented in the article, the patriotic project “I bow to women’s hands to the ground” was achieved thanks to the unity of memory of family traditions and memory of the history of the hometown.
