Today, the demand for readily accessible and accurate healthcare information has grown significantly. This paper focuses on the implementation of a medical chatbot, capable of answering healthcare-related queries. By incorporating the capabilities of Llama 2, a generative large language model from Meta, the chatbot developed is capable of skillfully navigating the intricacies of user queries while providing accurate and context-specific information. Furthermore, the system leverages the ChainLit UI Library, a modern front-end technology that enhances the user experience with an appealing interface. Through this synergy of advanced language capabilities and a user-friendly interface, we aim to contribute to the accessibility of trustworthy healthcare information, ultimately improving patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in their tasks.
