The evolution of electric vehicles (EVs) is a critical aspect of sustainable transportation, demanding innovative solutions for efficient energy management and optimal battery performance. This research presents a Smart Electric Vehicle Design featuring an Intelligent Battery Management System (IBMS) empowered by a Smart Battery Management System (SBMS). The SBMS integrates advanced components such as a Microcontroller (MCU), Alarm System, ACS758 Current Sensor, CYHVS025T Voltage Sensor, and DS18B20 Temperature Sensor. The integration of the ACS758 Current Sensor provides accurate current measurements, enabling precise monitoring of energy flow within the battery system. Meanwhile, the CYHVS025T Voltage Sensor contributes to voltage monitoring, ensuring a stable and safe operating voltage range. Together, these sensors play a pivotal role in maintaining the health of the battery pack and preventing undesirable conditions that may compromise the overall performance of the electric vehicle. The proposed Smart EV Design with Intelligent Battery Management System marks a significant step towards achieving sustainable and efficient electric mobility. The comprehensive integration of the SBMS components enhances the reliability, safety, and performance of the electric vehicle, addressing crucial aspects of battery management. This research contributes valuable insights and practical solutions for the advancement of intelligent electric vehicle technologies.
