In response to address issues such as one-way information flow, difficulty in GIS data exchange, inability to achieve cross departmental data sharing, and increasing data silos, this article proposes a design of a data-driven online model system for urban water pipeline network based on GIS. It adopts a service-oriented SOA architecture and comprehensively utilizes Internet of Things technology, big data technology, WebGIS technology to achieve network topology relationship management, pipeline inspection and operation, pipeline leakage control, and water supply scheduling simulation. This study conducted corresponding testing and analysis on the operational effectiveness of the system. In terms of pipeline leakage control, 86% of the marketing water volume can be fixed within the secondary partition water meter. In terms of pipeline network online models supporting for business systems, water supply scheduling simulation accounts for the largest proportion, about 60%.
