Academic Integrity in Institutions of Higher Education: Problems of Implementing Access to the Eu

The article proves that the academic integrity is considered as a necessary condition for success in work for educators, it lays the foundation for responsible behavior of students after studying at the university; the existence of problems of implementation of academic integrity in practice (academic plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabrication, writing off, deception, bribery, etc.) has been determined; corruption in education, inadmissible obtaining of illegal advantages, etc.). Ways to overcome the problems of academic integrity are given. Academic integrity is substantiated as an important component of quality education and a key factor in Ukraine’s successful accession to the European Union. It has been proven that the implementation of academic integrity requires the joint efforts of all participants in the educational process and support from the state and society.
