Every pediatrician-nephrologist repeatedly have to deal with cases of the birth of children with early onset of nephrotic syndrome, which is characterized by a severe course, persistent progression of symptoms, resistance to standard immunosuppressive therapy, questionable and, often, unfavorable prognoses for life and health, which requires constant improvement of existing professional knowledge, diagnostic and therapeutic skills. The article presents a review of the scientific literature of domestic and foreign authors, which allows changing the perception of the disease, improving outcomes, giving chances to the patient and his family in conditions of modern and timely diagnosis and the correct choice of patient management strategy.
