The article highlights the results of an experimental study on the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for the implementation of a personally oriented approach to the education of moral and volitional qualities in difficult teenagers in extracurricular physical activity. Pedagogical conditions are based on the conceptual principles of systemic, person- oriented, environmental, sports-oriented, activity-oriented and cultural approaches and consist of the following: 1) involvement of difficult teenagers in public organizations of physical culture and sports orientation; 2) ensuring the psychological and methodical readiness of trainers to educate difficult teenagers with moral and volitional qualities; 3) the use of innovative personally oriented forms and methods of educating moral and volitional qualities of difficult teenagers. The comparative analysis of the results of research and experimental work showed a significant increase in the number of teenagers with a sufficient level of upbringing of moral and volitional qualities - from 7.7% to 30.7%, and a significant decrease (by 44.2%) of a low level - from 61.5% up to 17.3%. The reliability of the obtained data was confirmed by the method of variational statistics according to the homogeneity criterion (Pearson's criterion).
