This research aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of teachers' teaching styles and students' learning motivation on cognitive learning outcomes in science subjects. This type of research is ex-post facto correlation with a population of 360 class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bangil and a sample of 186 students selected through simple random sampling based on the Krejcie table with a confidence level of 95%. Data analysis involved normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression tests using SPSS-25 software. The results of the research show: 1) there is relationship between students' perceptions of science cognitive learning outcomes, 2) a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and science cognitive learning outcomes, and 3) a significant relationship between students' perceptions of teachers' teaching styles and learning motivation on cognitive learning outcomes IPA. Future research is expected to review other factors that influence student learning outcomes
