The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus has caused several labor inconveniences for rural area inhabitants, highlighting that, although agriculture is their main source of income, it has been reduced in certain areas. The purpose of this work was to evaluate the incidence of COVID-19 on the work activities of rural workers, and how this situation has evolved to the present. To this end, the Pension Score Coincidence Analysis was used, considering workers in rural areas as a study group. The results indicated that the difference between groups was minimal, highlighting that the variables most affected were the working day of the people, the total monthly income, and the total monthly expenditure. Their situation is also attributed to other causes, such as the lack of government support and programs to boost agricultural productivity and the inhabitants' livelihoods.
