This research aims to describe academic supervision is implemented at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Krian as well as the obstacles found by the principal in carrying out academic supervision using research methods, namely descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained through interviews, observation, and also documentation of academic supervision files. The research results stated that the implementation of academic supervision activities was carried out through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and follow-up, and there was a significant influence between academic supervision on improving the quality of education at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Krian both internally and externally. The increase in quality internally is shown by an increase in the number of teachers carrying out learning activities in the good category, namely an increase of 20%, while the increase in quality externally is shown by the results of the 2024 Muhammadiyah 6 Krian Middle School education report on learning quality indicators which obtained moderate achievements.
