Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Disclosures on the Performance of Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017 - 2023 Period

This research aims to examine the impact of environmental, social, and governance disclosures on company performance. The population consists of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and included in the ESG market's star company list from 2017 to 2023. The research object includes companies listed as ESG Star Companies and those with complete sustainability reports for the period from 2017 to 2023. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, and data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 23. The results reveal that environmental, social, and governance disclosures do not significantly affect company performance as measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). This finding indicates that, despite the importance of environmental, social, and governance disclosures for corporate sustainability, they do not have a significant impact on company performance in the context of this study.
