The article examines the issues of self-esteem of a person in the context of effective management of professional growth. High self-esteem promotes confidence in one's abilities, increased motivation and risk-taking, which can lead to success at work. At the same time, low self-esteem can become an obstacle to career development. Training, self-development, as well as goal-setting and time management contribute to improving personal self-esteem, which in turn creates conditions for effective management of professional development.
