Abstract. In our country, it is also important to carry out a comprehensive and step-by-step serious study of the place of the Turks in the centuries-old history of India. Periods of power of the Turks in India were continuous. In the article, the Mamluk period of the Delhi Sultanate established by the Turks was considered as a special target, and the most important information related to this topic was selected, systematically presented and introduced. Information related to the mentioned period was compiled, including based on sources in foreign languages, and specially considered. Mamluk scenes in the Muslim space in the Middle Ages are evaluated as a significant milestone, and the need to study this complex and large-scale phenomenon is mentioned. The most prominent sultans of the Mamluk period mentioned in the article: Kutybeddin Aibek, Shamseddin Yeltutmys (1210-1236), Raziya Yeltutmys's daughter (1236-1240), Giyaseddin Belban Ulug-khan (1266-1287) were specially separated and became the focus of analysis. In the history of India, the Turks became political elite and achieved two results with their domination and leadership. One is the spread and stabilization of the Islamic religion, as well as the historical task of holding the reins of leadership and organizing it into a state and nation. In the study, it was confirmed that the civilization developed in a new direction during the Delhi Sultanate and acquired its own characteristics, unknown and unavailable information was presented. The construction of buildings in the new style of that era, the various development of the architectural process in Delhi is described on the example of the Qutib Tower. The religious position of the ruling Turks, appreciation of Islamic values, interest and concern for art and literature are shown. The work will be useful from a practical point of view, as it will contribute to the addition of new data to the field of domestic history, oriental studies, and Turkic studies, and will inspire new works in the future. In the future, it is planned to intertwine the works of Indian historians related to this topic by freely mastering them and the historical and genealogical works of the same period by using them as evidence.
