The aim of the study is to identify and summarize scientific approaches to the formation and preservation of patriotic values among youth in the context of the transformation of the socio-cultural and informational environment, with an emphasis on pedagogical conditions and strategies that ensure the stability of civic and patriotic identity. The article presents a structured theoretical review of Russian sources (scientific articles, dissertations, analytical surveys), covering the period from 2019 to 2024, with the inclusion of earlier methodologically significant works. The key concepts are examined, along with theoretical and methodological foundations of patriotic education, psychological, pedagogical and socio-cultural factors, risks and threats of the digital environment, and contemporary formats and technologies of patriotic upbringing. The scientific novelty lies in the integrated interpretation of patriotic values as a multi-level phenomenon formed at the intersection of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and media-related factors, as well as in clarifying pedagogical guidelines under conditions of identity fragmentation and digital transformation. As a result, the study identifies effective strategies of patriotic education: integration of axiological, activity-based, and media approaches; reliance on cultural continuity; development of media literacy; the formation of a stable civic position through youth involvement in personally meaningful socio-cultural practices.
