Given that international crimes constitute one of the primary sources of insecurity and fear in the international community—often manifesting as widespread and irreparable offenses—addressing the issue of prosecuting international crimes not only contributes to the development and vitality of the international legal system, but also facilitates the ability of victims of such crimes to seek reparation for the harm they have suffered. This process ultimately promotes the maintenance of international order and enhances the satisfaction of the global community. The objective of the present study is to elucidate the judicial criminal policy of Iran in confronting international crimes. The study has been conducted using a descriptive and analytical method. The findings indicate that Iran’s judicial criminal policy is grounded in prevention, cooperation, and the punishment of international criminals.
