This article examines changes in the volume and structure of global orange production from 2008 to 2022. It was found that during the specified period, the global gross harvest of these citrus fruits increased from 67719,9 thousand tons to 68479,2 thousand tons, that is, by only 1,12%. In 2022, the top five main producers were Brazil - 16929,9 thousand tons (24,72%), China - 7600,0 thousand tons (11,10%), Mexico - 4854,4 thousand tons (7,09%), India - 3895,0 thousand tons (5,69%) and Egypt - 3159,8 thousand tons (4,61%). Together, these five countries accounted for 53,21% of global orange production. It was found that during the period covered by the analysis, a number of countries experienced a reduction in gross harvests of this fruit. The leaders here were the USA – a decrease of 6032,8 thousand tons (a decrease in the share in the world from 13,50% to 4,54%), Brazil – by 1608,1 thousand tons (from 27,37% to 24,72%), India – by 965,3 thousand tons (from 7,18% to 5,69%), Spain – by 592,9 thousand tons (from 5,04% to 4,11%), Italy – by 383,8 thousand tons (from 3,20% to 2,60%).
