This article explores the role of urban agglomerations in the socio-economic development of the Russian Far East. It emphasizes the importance of accelerated growth in the macroregion, the efficient utilization of natural resources, and infrastructure improvement. Particular attention is paid to key agglomerations - Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, and Yakutsk - which are emerging as drivers of regional growth. The paper proposes measures aimed at reducing population outflow and enhancing investment attractiveness through the development of transport and social infrastructure.
