Digital banking has significantly transformed financial inclusion, offering urban women greater access to financial resources, credit, and investment opportunities. This study examines the impact of digital banking usage on women's economic empowerment (WEE) in North Karnataka, focusing on working women in formal sectors. Using a descriptive, exploratory, and causal research design, the study collected data from 250 urban women in North Karnataka through structured surveys. The research explores key dimensions of economic empowerment, including financial independence, decision-making power, investment behaviors, and income stability. The findings indicate that frequent digital banking usage correlates with increased financial autonomy and investment participation. However, barriers such as digital literacy gaps and cybersecurity concerns still hinder optimal benefits. The study proposes a framework for enhancing digital literacy and trust in online financial services among women. These insights can help policymakers, financial institutions, and stakeholders develop targeted interventions to promote economic empowerment through digital banking. Future research should explore the intersection of digital banking and entrepreneurship among women in emerging urban centers.
