This study investigates copyright protection for AI-generated content. With the rapid advancement of AI technology, its application in creative fields has ex-panded significantly, transforming AI-generated works into a new form of crea-tion that lowers entry barriers. However, this transformation also presents challenges such as copyright ownership disputes, disagreements over originality determination, and uncertainty in protection models. Addressing these issues is crucial, as strengthening copyright protection for AI-generated content respects creators 'efforts, incentivizes innovation, enhances market incentives, boosts researchers' enthusiasm, and drives the development of AI and tech-cultural industries. The paper explores current copyright protection practices for AI-generated content and proposes countermeasures including clarifying copy-right recognition criteria, establishing statutory registration systems, reasona-bly determining copyright ownership, and improving relevant legislation. Through comprehensive analysis of multiple challenges in AI-generated content copyright protection, and by referencing domestic and international legal frameworks, the study develops localized standards and protection pathways for AIGC (Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content) originality determination. These findings aim to establish a robust legal foundation for AI-generated con-tent copyright protection, thereby promoting the healthy development and practical application of AI technologies.
