In this essay, we look at several 21st-century literary pieces through the prism of posthuman philosophy to see how human identity changes with the years. Literature in the modern era provides an important forum for discussing the existential, ethical, and philosophical questions raised by the blurring of human and machine roles brought about by developments in biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and digital technology. The study looks at how tales show hybrid identities mediated by digital technology, which undermines anthropocentric ideologies. The research also uses critical readings of important texts to deconstruct the conventional idea of the independent, rational human subject. The study looks at how literary works depict technologically controlled situations and how these themes are reimagined in terms of agency, embodiment, and awareness. Posthumanist authors like Donna Haraway, N. Katherine Hayles, and Rosi Braidotti's theoretical frameworks are utilized to achieve this.
