Objective: To investigate the reconfiguration of people management in agribusiness, driven by digital transformation (Agro 4.0) and demographic shifts, by proposing a new model centered on human capital. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework encompasses the evolution of organizational models, strategic people management, culture, and leadership to analyze the sector's challenges. Method: Methodologically, the study conducts a diagnosis of the sector's challenges and an international comparative analysis (USA, EU, Australia) to contextualize the problems and propose a model based on data, agility, and leadership. Results and Discussion: It identifies key challenges such as high turnover and a succession crisis, revealing a global human capital crisis; it further discusses the impact of Agro 4.0 and Generation Z, proposing a new management model for the sector. Research Implications: The study proposes a practical model to modernize people management in agribusiness, guiding leaders to adopt People Analytics, agility, and transformative leadership to address global challenges and attract new talent. Originality/Value: Its originality lies in the integrated analysis of digital and demographic transformation in agribusiness, proposing an innovative people management model focused on human capital for sustainable competitive advantage.
