Abstract

Motivation: Our motivation was to produce susceptibility and R2* maps in a cohort of healthy subjects Goal(s): Obtain normative values of R2* and QSM in the basal ganglia of healthy subjects at 11.7T Approach: Combination of Ultra-high Field (11.7T), Universal Pulses for RF transmission, Virtual Coil approach for complex magnitude and phase image generation, state-of-the-art susceptibility mapping techniques and deep learning for image segmentation. Results: Normative values were obtained for R2* and susceptibility values in the basal ganglia of healthy subjects. Impact: This study paves the way for the use of QSM and R2* at ultra-high field (11.7T)
