Abstract "Points of View" replaces the section of the Journal of Forestry previously devoted to "Correspondence." It will include the substance of letters to the editor and others, comments on published material, and expressions of opinion that cannot appropriately be classified as articles or notes. Readers are urged to contribute freely to the department as a means of stimulating frank and informal discussion of matters of current interest in all branches of forestry.
