One of the most important steps of training needs is in the development of performance and factors that drive farmers for continuity and stability in agriculture. Training makes a polished hand from crude. Agricultural production in India played a significant role, in achieving food security by implementing an oil-for-food agricultural sector, providing sufficient quantities of food for the population of India and enhancing the food supply in general, especially the heavily-imported food supplies, making sure of the role played by the food supply and its ancillary systems in the lives of the poor and food-insecure populations. The competencies required for an entrepreneur can be acquired through training and development. Entrepreneurship is common to all businesses. Agriculture is not an exception farmer should have entrepreneurship qualities to excel in the field. In the present study, entrepreneurship behavior among the farmers is studied in light of variables like innovativeness, achievement, motivation, decision-making ability, risk orientation and leadership. The present research focuses its attention on impacted of training on Entrepreneurial behavior of farmers in the Tenkasi area.
