Background: Good teaching is akin to weaving a fabric of connectedness between student, teacher, and subject (Palmer, 2007). The present Competency Based Medical Education curriculum and teaching learning methods intends to prepare the Indian Medical Graduates to provide health care to the evolving needs of the nation and the world. To effectively achieve this goal, introduction of newer teaching methodologies becomes mandatory. It is to assess the effectiveness of Aim: FCR as a teaching method in comparison with traditional teaching in practical sessions of histopathology slides using digital methods along with the students' perceptions. Material And Methods: This study was conducted among the phase II MBBS students in General Pathology slides during the practical sessions conducted in the first quarter i.e. from October 2024 to January 2025 at Department of Pathology, Osmania Medical College. Brief introduction and pre-recorded videos related to the assigned topic were posted in the WhatsApp for FCR group. Pre- and post tests were conducted for each traditional and FCR session with ten multiple-choice questions pertaining to that topic. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was done for pre- and post-test comparisons using SPSS software version 26(trail version). A feedback survey was also conducted on the students and was analysed. P 0.05) but the mean value was higher in A batch than the B batch which indicates that FCR is effective than traditional method. Similarly, students' feedback survey showed that FCR was preferred compared to traditional teaching learning methods. Conclusion: The result of this study shows that a flipped classroom methodology of teaching histopathology was both effective and scalable and the students' perception was very positive.
