The development of 21st century skills presents a global challenge in education, underscoring the importance of creativity and technology in music education. This study investigates how comprehensive-school teachers integrate technological tools to enhance music teaching and foster creativity among students. A web-based survey was conducted with 156 participants. Based on statistical analysis, a connection was found between educational background and the utilisation of creative practices. Qualitative content analysis highlighted the need for teachers to receive continuing education in creative and productive music education during their working hours. Practices of technology-assisted productive music education should be an integral part of teacher training, as only a small proportion of respondents had received sufficient training in this area. The responses highlighted a clear need for instructional materials and guidelines that can be directly applied in teaching and are effective regardless of learner diversity, age, or skill level.
