This study investigates the impact of a multimodal approach on creative writing instruction and its role in enhancing the quality, creativity, and representation of social and cultural values in students’ written works. Employing a qualitative methodology, the research explores the current state of creative writing pedagogy and the integration of multimodal literacy in classroom settings. Findings reveal that incorporating various semiotic modes such as images, audio, and digital media significantly enriches students’ creative expression and deepens their engagement with social and cultural themes. The multimodal approach also fosters critical thinking, motivation, and digital literacy among learners. However, challenges such as limited access to technology and insufficient teacher training present obstacles to implementation. Recommendations include enhancing professional development for educators, increasing institutional support, and promoting collaborative learning strategies. This study contributes theoretical and practical insights toward developing inclusive and culturally responsive creative writing curricula in the digital era.
