Attention is drawn to the essence of the integral characteristics of the coaching method and the peculiarities of the relationship between the structural components of emotional intelligence and the basic principles of coaching. The article summarizes that academic lectures and seminars do not have a positive impact on the development of emotional intelligence, motivational sphere and personal qualities in students, since traditional training only informs about the importance of emotional intelligence (EI), but does not always help students integrate this knowledge into real behavior.
