Building construction technologies play a crucial role in the path towards solving environmental problems and developing a sustainable building construction system. This study aims to assess the current state and future trends of research on sustainable technologies in buildings through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. A scoping review methodology was employed, analyzing 81 documents published between 2014 and 2024, extracted from the Scopus database using keywords such as "technological innovation", "building infrastructure" and "sustainability". The results indicate that the United Kingdom, the United States and China are at the forefront of scientific production in this field. Among the most studied technologies are information modeling for construction (BIM), augmented reality, digital twins, the Internet of Things (IoT) and sustainable materials such as green concrete. While research on energy efficiency and technology integration is expanding, gaps remain regarding critical environmental assessment and the adoption of emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI. This first comprehensive bibliometric analysis offers key insights into emerging trends and their potential impact on the transformation of urban infrastructures, underlining the transformative role of technology in sustainable construction.
