The post-pandemic economic situation in Indonesia has created significant pressure, marked by rising living costs and widening income inequality. This condition requires society to take strategic measures, either by increasing income or reducing expenses. One of the strategies that has gained considerable attention is frugal living, a lifestyle that emphasizes wise and efficient financial management without reducing the quality of life. This study aims to examine the concept of frugal living and its impact on financial management, particularly among young people who are vulnerable to consumptive behavior. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach. Data were obtained through the analysis of various academic sources and relevant publications related to the application of frugal living. The findings indicate that frugal living can help individuals cope with economic pressures by encouraging awareness of the importance of financial planning, saving habits, and consumption control. As a result, individuals are not only able to survive in uncertain economic conditions but also become more independent and financially responsible. Therefore, frugal living has the potential to serve as a relevant and sustainable financial management strategy in the modern era.
