The studied investigated cloud computing technology application for effective library service delivery in three federal university libraries in Northwestern Nigeria. The population consisted of 177 librarians and library ICT staff. Total enumeration sampling technique was adopted due to the manageable nature of the population. The research instrument used were questionnaire and observation checklist. The data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics of frequency table, percentage and mean with the aid of SPSS. The finding of the study revealed that all ICT facilities indicated by the studied were available in the three selected university libraries studied, despite the availability of ICTs facilities, not all the cloud computing services founded available in the three university libraries, the e-resources revealed to be available on cloud computing were mostly e-books, e-journals, and e-theses, inadequate funding of library electronic services, epileptic power supply, lack of dedicated server in the library, inadequate security measures, inadequate computer to access the e-resources, inadequate bandwidth to sustain internet services, limited number of available e-books, limited number of available e-journal, and insufficient number of cooling systems founded as factors affecting cloud computing application in the three selected university library. It was therefore, recommended that the government and university management should encourage and make remarkable policies that would lead to the cloud computing application in the library and the library management should make policies that would ensure the implementation and the use of such gadgets in meeting needs of library users.
