Avenues for disseminating work by applied and collaborative statisticians to statistical audiences are extremely limited. Methodological advances made in the course of effectively executing applied work often fail to reach an audience of other practicing statisticians. In this webinar, we discuss questions posed and elaborate on our responses in the manuscript ‘Where can we share the impactful work of applied, collaborative statisticians?’ Our panel consists of members of the professional community in academia, government, industry, and independent statistical consulting. We highlight key challenges and opportunities that frame our opinions and conclude with recommendations that are possible for the dissemination of impactful work by applied, practicing statisticians.
