The current research aims to identify the concept of organizational readiness with its dimensions (commitment to change, and effectiveness of change) and strategic behavior with its dimensions (analyst behavior, prospector behavior, and defender behavior) in private banks in Muthanna Governorate, and by taking the opinions of a sample of individuals working in private banks, where the sample included (155) working individuals to whom the questionnaire was distributed and only (153) questionnaires were retrieved, from which (2) questionnaires were excluded that were not valid for statistical analysis, and the remaining (151) only, the sample included senior, middle and lower management represented by (bank manager, department manager, division manager, unit manager), and the research relied on the descriptive approach using statistical programs (Spssv.25), (Excel2010) and (AMOS V.25). The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the existence of a positive correlation with statistical significance and a positive impact between organizational readiness and strategic behavior. The researchers also presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: The management of private banks in Muthanna Governorate should adopt the organizational readiness approach in all its dimensions, by holding the necessary courses for working individuals in order to spread knowledge of the importance of continuous change, as well as taking their opinions regarding the changes that the bank management wants to make in order to reach the desired results from this change.
