This paper examines the impact of cultural factors on the effectiveness of construction project management. An established questionnaire collected quantitative data from professionals from multiple cultural backgrounds working on construction sites. The data show an association between project management variables and cultural backgrounds, including work-life balance practices, leadership styles, and communication behaviors. Effective communication and cultural sensitivity training positively impact leadership performance and decision-making, thereby enhancing project team communication. Accordingly, enhancing project management practices in multicultural environments requires a high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity. The solution proposes teaching cultural sensitivity through structured programs and encouraging free team communication to foster trust. Organizations should transform their leadership approach to achieve cultural competence when navigating the challenges of cross-cultural project situations. This study's limitations include its established correlation links without proof of causation and its sector-specific research on construction, which limits the applicability of the findings beyond that industry. Future studies should investigate the causal relationship between these variables while exploring the broader impact of cultural sensitivity training on team performance outcomes.
