This record extends the Prime Field Pathfinder project with a physicalformalization of phase transitions observed in modular prime dynamics. Context:Previous releases (v3.0 and Appendix A) established experimentally verifiedphase structure in the Crystal-9 subspace (residues ≡ 8 mod 9, modulo 81),including localized spectral rigidity (GUE-like behavior) in the85M–90M interval and a persistent global invariant (Z₍26₎ ≈ +0.26). New contribution (v4.0):We introduce an effective energy functionalE(X) = ||Z(X)||², defined as the squared L₂-norm of normalized residuedeviations in the Crystal-9 subspace. This quantity serves as a macroscopicmeasure of structural stress in the prime field. Main results:• Energy accumulation during laminar phases (50M–70M)• Spectral freezing at a critical energy threshold (85M–90M), characterized by strong level repulsion (RI ≈ 10.0)• Post-transition relaxation into a stochastic (Poisson-like) phase This formulation bridges computational number theory and statistical physics, providing an energy-based explanation for localized quantum-chaotic behaviorin prime residue dynamics.
