The decline in poverty rates in Bontang in 2024 demonstrates significant success in poverty alleviation efforts. This success is inseparable from a multi-stakeholder collaborative approach that emphasises synergistic contributions between the government, the private sector, community organisations and the community, especially in coastal areas. This study aims to analyse the role and contribution of each party in these programmes as part of poverty alleviation efforts in the coastal areas of Bontang City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze secondary data from documents, reports, and relevant literature. The study results indicate that poverty alleviation programs implemented since 2021 through multi-stakeholder collaboration include geospatial mapping of extreme poverty, economic empowerment programs (cash assistance), access to education, skills training, provision of decent housing, and foster care. The government acts as the policy initiator and programme provider, the private sector provides funding support through CSR programmes, while community organisations act as facilitators and implementers in the field, with the active participation of the beneficiary community. The synergy achieved has proven effective thanks to the integrated contributions of all stakeholders. This collaboration has significantly contributed to reducing the poverty rate from 4.11% in 2023 to 3.74% in 2024. This finding underscores the importance of strengthening multi-stakeholder collaboration as a key strategy for achieving the goal of eliminating poverty.
