Evolution Of Education: From The Ancient Gurukul System To The Digital Era

The present paper aims to explore the shifting paradigm of Indian education system from Gurukul to the modern classroom of digital age. It is going to present a chronicle of India's educational Odyssey. The transition has taken place from traditional models such as the Gurukul system to modern methods like classroom-based learning and more recently, to online and distance mode of education.
