This study investigates the effects Community Policing on Cybercrime Control in Ikorodu Local Government Area. The design of the study was case study while the population comprised the students in the local government area. The sample size for the study was 200 respondents, that was drawn from the total population of 456,234 while the researchers’ semi-structured questionnaires were administered Simple frequency percentage was used for the analysis. The results of the findings show that there is a significant relationship between the design of community policing initiatives and their effectiveness in addressing cybercrime, and also. There is a significant effect of the implementation of cybercrime prevention measures on enhancing community safety and security. The study recommends a dedicated cybercrime reporting platform to enable residents to report incidents swiftly. This platform should be publisized and integrated into local enforcement systems for rapid responses and to gather data for policy refinement. The government should partner with educational institutions to develop and fund digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness programs targeting young adults. This will help in teaching responsible online behavior and the dangers of engaging in cybercrime, as well as offering alternative paths for youth to engage productively in the digital economy.
