The desk-based research and the archaeological assessment were undertaken in accordance with the relevant guidance and in line with the SWARCH HIA methodology . The site was visited on the 23rd of June 2025 by S. Walls, during which the location of the proposed development was inspected and any possible earthwork features were noted. The heritage and archaeological impacts of the proposed development is likely to be limited due to the likely low archaeological potential of the site and distance from any nearby designated heritage assets. Due to the small scale of the site, it is recommended that any archaeological mitigation if it is deemed appropriate take the form of a conditioned programme of archaeological works.
