This peer-reviewed conference paper was selected for poster presentation at the ANFA 2025 Conference – Behavior in the Built Environment: Measuring, Modeling, Theorizing, organized by the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture (ANFA), held in La Jolla, California, USA, in September 2025. The paper proposes a two-phase framework integrating Priming theory and Evidence-Based Design (EBD) within early-stage architectural workflows. Grounded in affective neuroscience and cognitive psychology, the research explores how spatial transitions can function as measurable emotional triggers within the built environment. Four spatial constructs are examined as operative design hypotheses: Liminal Space, Priming, Genkan, and Serendipity. The study advances a methodological pipeline connecting speculative architectural design, empirical validation, and digital implementation within BIM and parametric environments.
