ABSTRACT Five habitual contact lens wearers were tested before inserting their lenses and at intervals after wearing them. Mean horizontal curvature increased 0.71 D, 0.84 D and 0.55 D after 4, 8 and 16 hours of wear, mean vertical curvature increased 0.52 D, 0.50 D and 0.38 D at the same time.
