Climate change exacerbates vulnerabilities in African regions, necessitating equitable adaptation financing. A scoping review method was employed to synthesize literature from environmental science journals focusing on adaptation financing and climate change impacts in vulnerable regions. The analysis revealed that only 30% of adaptation funds allocated to Uganda were directed towards the most vulnerable districts, highlighting significant disparities. Climate justice principles are underutilized in current adaptation financing strategies for Ugandan regions, particularly in marginalized areas. Implementing a more equitable distribution mechanism is recommended to ensure that vulnerable communities receive fair and sufficient resources. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
